This was the Time Schedule as of 31 May 1944 for the IX Troop Carrier Command of the 9th Air Force. The times shown were set for the 4th and 5th of June, 1944, but weather caused a 24-hour delay to June 5th and 6th. This timetable included 921 aircraft operating in four missions - Albany (441), Boston (378), Chicago (50), and Detroit (52). It's hard to imagine the organization skills required to get them all from England to France when and where they needed to be. Stan's C-47 was in Serial 24.

The graphic below includes the Flight Path and relevant portions of the Time Schedule
overlaid onto a current Google Earth view of the area.
